Prana is the mystical vital energy within us and is intimately linked with the breath. Yogis know that this energy is the intermediary between the body and the mind. It is the power behind our senses and our thoughts.
Through breath-work practices, known as pranayama, the practitioner can access states of consciousness that increase vitality, relax the body and mind and deepen meditation. Join Nataraj Chaitanya for a deep dive into the philosophy and practice of pranayama.
This course combines lectures and practical application of pranayama techniques, with a focus on how to use the breath to experience deep states of meditation. Students will have access to the course both live-streamed and on-demand, as well as a private Facebook group to keep the conversation going and to ask questions between weekly sessions.
The course runs four consecutive Saturdays, from October 31st to November 21st, 9:30 -11am AEDT.
