Build a Complete Yoga Practice
with Nataraj Chaitanya
Dive into the Golden Eleven series developed by Swami Shankarananda over 5 weekly workshops starting September 2nd.
Movement – Breath – Awareness
Join Nataraj Chaitanya for an in depth discussion of The Golden Eleven Series and how to build your complete, at-home yoga practice.
The Golden Eleven Series was developed by Swami Shankarananda and is based on his time spent studying and practicing with the famous hatha yogi, Hari Dass Baba. This exquisite sequence of postures moves the spine in all directions for total body health and focuses on preparing the body for meditation. Through the embodied experience and study of the Golden Eleven Series and other classical hatha yoga postures, breathwork, and dharanas, students will learn how to craft a set series of practices personalized to their body.
In this five week workshop featuring posture, breath, mantra, and meditation, we will examine a comprehensive way to approach the asanas of hatha yoga, and how to use the outer limbs of yoga as a gateway into deeper meditative experience.
Classes with Nataraj will be composed of both theory and practice, with plenty of time for Q&A and exploration of the asanas. Students will be encouraged to work gently within their limits, while learning to find the balance point of ease and effort within each posture.
All are welcome to attend. No experience necessary.
Class meets for 5 consecutive Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm.
Class dates are: September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
